Volunteering is something we know about – but with Working Solutions our volunteers have a unique opportunity to use that experience to build work skills, try new workplace roles and consider new job pathways.

In collaboration with our flexible work partners we source work-related opportunities that let you try new skills, build confidence and decide whether ongoing paid work in that area is a realistic and interesting option for you.  If you have a mutual obligation requirement you’re welcome to start meeting that commitment with us.  Our volunteering positions are largely managed through our virtual workplace platforms so as a single parent for example, you can plan your volunteering around your home responsibilities.

If you are interested in  volunteer opportunities contact us and let us know a little more about your interests and current skills.

All our volunteer opportunities include training and ongoing mentoring according to your current skill set.  Our volunteer opportunities support our advocacy role for single parents, help develop sustainable funding channels, support the development of resources, and further our client group’s employment opportunities.

We work in collaboration with employers and industry partners to develop work opportunities, provide pre-training, or launch your own business ideas.

We have number of projects in motion.  If you are solo-parenting, or a senior supporting grandchildren in the home,  there are options might suit your interests or career journey now.  We are NOT a government agency, nor are we a Job Active provider.  So don’t be shy about finding out more. We’re happy to hear from you by email to get started.

The FundRise Project

Working in collaboration with Find It Locally P/L we’re developing 8800 digital community noticeboards to build business, create sustainable fundraising for local  projects and engage locals in their community.  We showcase your local events, online shopping centres, business directories  more.

Massage Network

This project is building a platform of qualified massage therapists.  Many people are finding is difficult to discern one therapist business form another.  We support only qualified therapists on our site.  It makes it much easier to  ‘seek’ ‘look’ and ‘book’ an experienced massage practitioner  for people needing real massage therapy.

Community Access

A project supporting adults who are in need of a companion or support person for safe community access, or assistance with travel to attend appointments or other community services.  Our clients are generally older and fall outside support services for youth, mental health or high-needs agency assistance..
