Who we are

Working Solutions Incorporated is a Not For Profit organisation that focuses on the support of single parents with children.  Single parents may be mums or dads or may identify as non-binary or trans-gender.  Our Association is managed under the leadership of a Committee who are, r have experienced life as a single parent or have experience as a child in a single parent home.  The Association exists to support the development of work pathways for solo parents that are sustainable, realistic and flexible.  We advocate for inclusive workplaces that value the role of single parents and demonstrate a positive workplace culture.

What data do we collect ?

We collect data in a range of forms including personal data you send us via email from this site.  We also collect data as ‘traffic’ that is numbers based data that alerts us to the demand or popularity of certain articles and content we display on this site.

Articles on our site may also include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) provided by writers external to our own authors. While we verify our external content authors, it is important to note that content may include external links with embedded content from other websites. This content behaves in the exact same way as if the you – the visitor, have visited the other website. Who we share your data with

We do not share your details with Third Parties and within our own site – only administrators can review data records for the purpose of site analytics or responding to an enquiry you have made to us. We do not share data without your permission.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment or email the site, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. For registered users, this would be stored  in your own user profile. We do not register users without request, or consent. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Only our Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have registered on our site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.

Complaints management

If you are not happy with our handling of your data rec0rd you can lodge a complaint in writing.  Our committee will respond to such complaints and resolve them in conjunction with you.  Information gathered using the complaints process and the resolution documented and forwarded to you is a record we must keep for the statutory period prescribed in the state of Victoria.
